Imbuing is a new system that you may use for your Guardsmen Militia character. All information is contained below, including restrictions and allowed imbues. If an imbue does not appear in the list, then it is not currently allowed.
Imbuing Restrictions
Imbuing is restricted to Rookie Guard rank and above. You are allowed up to 4 imbues per piece of gear. The 5th imbue slot is required to be able to balance resists.
This restriction allows for a smoother power curse as you raise your guardsmen character within the guild, and also gives you something to work towards.
Obtaining an Imbue
All imbues have varying strengths that can be put onto gear. Please check the imbue you would like on the UO wiki.
The final levels of each imbue also require a specific "high intensity ingredient" gathered from certain mobs. At this time, this needs to be obtained and passed to the imbuer. This is an ideal idea for a patrol to gather said material!
All imbue requests should be placed onto the Craftsmen Forum. An available imbuer will reply when they can do it.
Alternatively, if you have an imbuer, or know one to carry out the work, please arrange it as you see fit.
PVP-RP RoE Approved Imbues
~ GM Crafted armour/clothing imbued with magic properties is permitted with the following mods allowed:
- Health, mana and stamina regeneration.
- Hit point, mana and stamina increase.
- All resists.
- Lower reagent cost and lower mana cost. (LRC restricted to church only)
- Night sight - Waywatcher only
- Mage Armour - Church only
~ GM Crafted shields imbued with magic properties are permitted with the following mods allowed:
- Durability
- Lower requirements
- Defense chance Increase
~ GM Crafted weapons imbued with magic properties are permitted with the following mods allowed:
- Damage Increase.
- Hit Chance Increase.
- Balanced is allowed on Bows but forbidden on melee weapons.
Final Note
The system detailed above is all subject to change. If an imbue is outperforming what we intend then it may be restricted further.
Cheers
