Task: Task two - ResourcesLoot: 9,650 Coin, 1,225 Golden ingots, 514 iron ingotsAfter Corporal Harper called together the line up, she offered it to the line in case there were any tasks needed. This was a great opportunity t'take care of the resource task set out.
We departed from Yew and headed across the Britain en route to Lord King Blackthorn's Castle, briefly stopping to drop a banner off at the bank. Once we arrived at the castle we entered the dark rooms of his majesty's basement, which he appears to keep a variety of creatures and brigands locked up. The treasury seemed to attract Golden Elementals. I originally misunderstood t'task, as I didn't know it mattered which ingots were collected (in Occlo, we just call any old metal iron), so after gathering 1,250 golden ore ingots, the Marksmen Corporal advised that he would adjust the task in order to compensate for my misunderstanding. The task changed to collect 500 iron ingots and counting the golden ingots against the other 500.
The collection of the remaining ingots proved tricky, as the dungeon is sparse of monsters who carry enough metal. We moved around, and took care of some of Blackthorn's own mechanical creations, but not much of their metal was usable. The golems provided a decent amount, but we decided to move on and tackle the dragons, drakes and brigands of the area. After quite a chaotic battle with a few greater dragons, we departed to the castle's workshop with our loot. Unfortunately we were about 100 shy of the total, so we headed back in.
This time we moved straight back to the golems, and in hind sight, if we had stayed there we would have gathered the required ingots in no time.
Special Mention: To Dwalin for his excellent smelting skills, and for joining us on this risky venture.

Task: Task one - RecruitmentA section of guardsmen travelled to New Haven in order to perform some recruitment. When we stepped into the moongate, something odd happened, and we ended up in a slightly more foreign version of Haven. We were very confused, as people started to say the word 'Atlantic' to us. Not sure what that meant, but we were equipped to recruit and so we did. We had set up a rather show-y stand, but it was too show-y, and the locals took to it like magpies. We discussed the life of the Guardsmen, and who we are to a few of the locals there, and some even came to visit Stonekeep. We let some of them try on our colours and join in on our activities. Hopefully we'll see some new faces in the ranks soon.
Unfortunately on the journey back, Jenkins was lost, may the Avatar be with him.
