Task 1 - Practical Skills
Being a Waywatcher requires a great number of non-combative skills. You are to lead your fellow Guardsmen (and allies) on an instruction and practice of an essential Waywatcher skill such as tracking, foraging and cooking, spying, disguise, or any other you choose. There must be four or more people in attendance.
Task 2 - Rebuilding the herd.
Waywatchers were known for their Ostards and riding them on long hunts but our handler has long since vanished along with our beloved beasts. - You're to take a small patrol of fellow Waywatchers and other trusted guardsmen to help corral some new Ostards for the division. - You may seek out someone with animal handling skills for this task.
Task 3 - Stronger materials.
With the return of the Militia comes the finding of new sources of material to help make our armour stronger as we face deadlier foes. - You are to lead a hunt to discover some of these materials and return them for our craftsmen to use.
You should also gather at least 500 barbed leather hides. Speak to the Craftsmen to find out what they might need and any knowledge of where you might find the materials.
Task 4 - Exploration
The Corsairs may be known for their exploring over the seas but Waywatchers must know the lands by the back of their hand in order to be the forward scouts of any patrols. It has been a long time since the Militia has been to the lands of Ilshenar and our knowledge of it has faded with history. - You're to lead a large expedition style hunt of no fewer than 6 people to your chosen area of Ilshenar and rediscover the area, noting any dangerous beasts or places of interest.
