Feathers.
You are to lead a patrol to the Harpy den near the Spirituality shrine. You are here to restock the militias store of feathers, as a budding archer and Marksman this will greatly benefit you and your chosen division. Any gold you collect will be split between the Marksmen, the Church and the Militia. At least 3 Guardsmen must attend this. A report with drawings must be provided.
Touching cloth.
Cloth is always needed in the miltia and the farmers in Yew work tirelessly. You are to offer them help, sheer their sheep, spin it and weave it into yards of cloth. As payment they will give you some for our stores. You may take others to help if you can convince them. A report with drawings must be provided.
Recruitment.
You are to go out and place recruitment banners at at least ten popular locations; whether that is banks, moongates or New Haven. A report with drawings must be provided.
Protect our borders.
Lead a patrol either South or East of Stonekeep and set up a road block near one of the outposts. You will need to; build your blockade, source food for the Guardsmen, tax any passers by & ensure the road is regularly patrolled. Guardsmen can get bored on watch; an element of competition or games may be useful to keep them occupied. A report with drawings must be provided.
All reports are to be pinned below.

Recruitment: Seeing as there is a pertinent lack of new faces to boss around, and the fact that being 'almost' the bottom of the totem pole makes this task that much easier to finish. I spent the evening setting out Recruitment banners all over the vast lands of Britannia, Malas, Ilshenar, the Tokuno Islands, and even the homelands of those pesky Gargoyles, Ter Mur. You never know where you may find the next meat shield Trainee.
It wasn't without it's own troubles, however, having to fend off Ettins, Spiders bigger than me, and all kinds of creatures. It was difficult, being newly returned, to figure out where the mass populace may gather. However I stopped by many hot spots; Including the RAA Crafter shop, the RAA Hostel, New Haven Bank, Britain, ect. I even shouted the news to the world, begging all that listened to come to and apply themselves to a better cause. Unfortunately, on my watch, none came. The banners may prove to be fruitful, though!

Touching Cloth:There is nothing more wholesome than getting back to the farm, is there? Well, I must say there is nothing more humbling than trying to do it yourself. It seemed easy at first just wrangle a sheep, pin it down and shear it clean with a fresh sharp knife, or a pair of shepherd's shears. I didn't have the latter so I had to resource to my Survival Kit knife. As 'expected', it was sharpened to a mirror sheen. Always ready, always capable! It was harder than expected at first, corralling and wrangling the sheep into position to shear them. I first tired 'Good Guardsman' by cooing and calling, trying to ease them into the coming shearing. It did not work. I, unfortunately, had to revert to 'Bad Guardsman', wrestling and pinning the sheep to the ground to shear them. They simply don't understand it's for their own good! With wool in tow I made my way to the local Tailor, The Tanned Hide. A fine establishment, despite the fact they refused my bribe generous offer of twenty gold coins to do the weaving for me. I toiled, many hours, sweating like a Tokunese worker trying to get the finest cloth. In the end, I have five bolts of cloth ready for Militia use.

Securing Our Borders:Leading: Kayliegh Shaw - FootmanAttending: Phil Lynx - CaptainRadek Wilkes - SergeantNadia - Waywatcher CorporalLarynda D'Gar - Noble/Ex-WaywatcherSicarius - Rookie CorsairWhile being generally bored at the Keep, and tired of standing around I decided to apply myself and continue my attempt of getting these tasks done before they got lost in the woods, again. With the numbers we had I quickly surmised that securing the Eastern Road was the right thing to do. We marched down the eastern road, finding little resistance, save for the random Ogre or two. We quickly dispatched them, making the road once again safe to travel for civilians. It was quick work amke it to the Eastern outpost where I provided saws for the construction of said Roadblock. The structure took form quickly, while slightly shabbled, one side not quite as tall as the other, and the other having no hides to protect from flaming arrows and fire bombs. Though it was on the Keep-side of the roadblock, it is a failure that will have to be corrected for next time. We even had time for Lady D'gar to cook some fresh mutton to serve the hungry troops. Much better than the smoked fishsteaks I had previously planned to hand out.It was a good thing we did decide to secure that road at the time, because once we had our roadblock established it wasn't long until a giant blue Demon appeared, claiming it was the owner of those lands and roads. It was able to knock me quite hard on the head, making me stumble and fall. Although I did hit the ground the other Guardsmen were able to quickly dispatch the beast. We made sure the Outpost was secured a while longer before I sent Nadia out on a scouting mission to the East, looking for any more signs of the beast. She returned quickly, reporting that there were several undead, not normal to the area roaming the road. We quickly made out way down the eastern road and encountered many of those green, rotting, walking corpses and some kind of hell-beast. They stood no chance against the united force of the Guardsmen Militia. With the outpost and road secured, we left the Roadblock for use of the Nightwatch in the outpost, and marched back to Stonekeep. Although today was a victory, it serves to make sure that more, and more in depth patrols and securing structures be carried out in the future. It also seems pertinent that the Crypts, Graveyard, and Lich Ruins be scouted out more thoroughly for signs of these strong, more malicious beings and giant blue Demon. We do not need a new Plague on our hands.

Feathers:Leading: Kayliegh Shaw - FootmanAttending: Phil Lynx - CaptainRadek Wilkes - SergeantLarynda D'Gar - Noble/Ex-WaywatcherKane - Rookie BesiegerAnna Goodward - VesperianWhile sitting at the King's Deer, having a few drinks, I happened to notice there were more than enough Guardsmen to be able complete my final task. Not wanting to be the one to procrastinate and lose my Rookie tasks again, I decided it best to Gather them up so we could all go and Gather those feathers. Though it did take some creative thinking to pry those lazy bones off their chairs and out into the world. I figured a little wager for the Guardsman who brought back the most feathers to supply the Marskmen won an open tab on my bill. That surely motivated them to pluck all those pesky feathers! We quickly made our way off to Spirituality, where we weaved our way through the fields of fairies and dark Wisps. Luckily no one was silly enough to swat at a fairy. If you leave them alone, they won't attack, but if you become aggressive, they swarm, like bees.We made quick work of the nasty nest of Harpies. We even encountered a few of those rare, Golden ones. Pesky buggers, but with good numbers and strong leadership we were able to overcome the hoards of winged, annoying beasts. We weaved through the hoard, slaying as we went, leaving plucked, bare Harpy corpses. It looked like someone was preparing a feast for the ages. All we'd need was a mountain of potatoes, some green beans, and a few hundred pumpkin pies. The shrieking, clawing, flapping monsters couldn't withstand the might of Yew. In the end, we wound up with nearly 2,000 feathers for the Fletcher, and 9,500 gold pieces for the Militia coffers.*Signed* Kayliegh Shaw, Footman.
