Guardsmen,
The trade minister in Yew has need of able bodies to transport goods from Yew to other cities around Brittania. This is good for Yew as it puts more gold in our coffers. However be aware there seems to be a nefarious plot at hand, you will be thrust a note asking you to smuggle goods to the badlands, DO NOT HEED THIS CALL.
By ignoring this, you will also be ambushed along the way by forces of creatures that are highly trained. Do not take these creatures lightly. Always travel in twos or more. We need to get to the bottom of the plot of who is sending out ambushes so any information needs to be relayed to Myself or Waywatcher Corporal Nadia.
Our first clue is from a bandit who attacked us, a crafty found the following:
Not much to go on yet, however a trip to Ice Dungeon did lead to a Pentagram on the floor pulsing with power. This may be coincidence.
The arrival of Lord, sorry, King Blackthorne in the lands was also timed well, he asked us to keep an eye on the situation.
Nadia and I have found another clue, this time an amulet from a gargoyle, and we intend to have the church look at it at once. Be vigilant if attempting these route guardsmen.
Sea routes are NOT to be attempted without a Corsair present, the danger is too high and will need to be guaged before setting out.
Please report any findings here.
That is all.
Corsair Corporal Borgio
OOC: The trade routes are fun to do, although the actual quest line for it is too taintish for us, Nadia and I are working on something we can do to incorporate it into an arc we can all enjoy. For now, if you want to run some land routes, take multiple guards with a pack each for even more ambushes!! Also avoid the ocean.... you shouldnt be there unless a corsair anyway but yeah... Buffed kraken and water elementals are nails.
Please gather any "clue" items you can, feel free to get them looked at by whichever trade needs to (dclick the item, it will say) and report what skill is needed.
Hopefully down the line we can have a good event with this, for giggles.
